On the night of September 8, the Russians launched an air strike on Sumy. According to the headquarters for liquidation of the consequences of emergency situations, at approximately 3:54 an airstrike took place on two gardening societies.
Garden and residential buildings were destroyed and damaged. There was a fire in the destroyed building. It was localized by units of the State Emergency Service.
Employees of the Sumy City Council went to the scene of the incident.
An elderly couple died. Four people were injured (two adults and two children).
32 buildings were damaged, including two residential buildings and 30 garden buildings (significant damage)). The destruction of slate roofs, windows and fences, electricity and water supply networks has been detected.
Five cars were also damaged.
