In Sumy region, Russians hit civilian infrastructure with a drone, one person died

In the Shostka district of the Sumy region, Russians hit civilian infrastructure with a drone, a 60-year-old woman died – an investigation has been launched.

This was reported by the Sumy regional prosecutor’s office.

“According to the investigation, on September 29, 2025, at about 15:00, in the Shalyginsk community of the Shostka district, Russians attacked civilian infrastructure with a drone. As a result of the Russian attack, a 60-year-old woman was injured, from which she died in the hospital,” the post says.

A pre-trial investigation is underway into the fact of committing war crimes, which caused the death of a person (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
