
According to the Sumy regional military administration, in the past week, January 2-8, there were 510 shellings of civilian territories in Sumy region.
This is one and a half times more than the week before, when there were 340 shellings. The average in January is 360.
Five civilians died last week, the same number as in all of January, 21 were wounded compared to 10 the week before last.
95 people were evacuated from dangerous areas during the week.
Infrastructure also suffered last week. Private and multi-storey buildings, educational and medical institutions, energy, railways, cars and agricultural enterprises were again under attack. “Shaheeds” and smaller UAVs attack the border areas daily, burning everything around.
