
The number of victims due to the attack on the night of April 21 in Sumy increased to 39 people, the Sumy City Council reported.

As reported, on the night of April 21, Russian troops carried out a massive drone attack on Sumy. As a result of the strike, a medical facility was hit, as well as damage to residential buildings and cars. Earlier, at least 15 victims were known.
According to the regional military administration, one private residential building was destroyed as a result of the shelling. 36 buildings were damaged, including 14 apartment buildings and 15 private residential buildings, as well as educational, medical and sports facilities. Damage was recorded to 418 balcony frames, 1,189 apartment windows, 226 windows in public areas and 8 roofs.
According to police, 29 vehicles were damaged, 7 were destroyed.
