In the Dnipropetrovsk region, a drone on an optical fiber attacked a DTEK unit

On the night of July 29, Russian troops attacked the territory of the DTEK unit in the frontline area of the region. As a result of the strike of a drone controlled via optical fiber, the company’s official transport was damaged. Fortunately, no one among the personnel was injured. This was reported by the energy company.

According to a DTEK report, despite the constant shelling, energy workers continue to eliminate the consequences of the attacks and restore damaged networks. Thus, in the last two days alone, repair crews have restored power to 21,347 families in 57 settlements in the region that were without power due to enemy strikes.

Currently, about 28,000 homes in the region remain without electricity. The company notes that restoration work in frontline areas is complicated by the security situation. Emergency crews are leaving for repairs immediately after receiving permission from the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the State Emergency Service.
