Іn the Kharkiv region, 9 people were killed and more than 35 were injured in a week as a result of Russian strikes

From July 28 to August 3, Russia launched strikes with various types of weapons on at least 44 settlements in the Kharkiv region, including the city of Kharkiv.

This was reported by the head of the Kharkiv regional military administration, Oleg Synegoubov.

As a result of the shelling, 35 people were injured, including four children – a 6-year-old girl, as well as 9-, 10-year-old and 5-month-old boys. Unfortunately, 9 people died. Another person died as a result of an ammunition explosion, 3 were injured, Synegoubov specified.

The Russians used the following means of destruction: 2 S-300 air defense missiles, 94 unguided aircraft missiles, 35 guided aircraft bombs, 23 Shahed UAVs, 40 Geran-2 UAVs, 5 Lancet UAVs, 8 Molniya UAVs, 18 FPV drones, 4 unidentified UAVs.

The Russian strikes damaged civilian infrastructure in the Izyum district. At least 24 private houses, two shops, a post office, a warehouse, two fire engines, four civilian vehicles, two utility buildings, and a garage were damaged there.

Significant destruction was also recorded in the Kupyanskyі district, where three apartment buildings and six private houses, a non-functioning children’s boarding school, two warehouses, a company, two non-residential buildings, a garage, and an agricultural field were damaged.

In Kharkiv itself, the Russians damaged three apartment buildings, a shop, a cafe, a car wash, four cars, and a non-residential building.

Units of the State Emergency Service neutralized 425 explosive devices. There were 1,139 combat clashes on the front line, the head of the regional military administration added.
