In the Kharkiv region, on the night of January 28, the Russians shelled the cemetery in Kupyansk and Vovchansk

On the night of January 28, Russian troops shelled the cities of Vovchansk and Kupyansk in the Kharkiv region, no civilians were injured. This is reported by the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration.

Twice a day around 21:00, and then after midnight – once again, the Russians struck Vovchansk, Chuguyiv district. A 77-year-old woman was injured, a private house was damaged.

The Russians attacked Kupyansk several times. As a result of shelling, the cemetery was damaged.

In the evening, shelling continued in Podolay, Kupyan Region. Among the victims are men aged 42 and 50. The victims were hospitalized.

Around 01:00, the Russian army struck Vovchansk. No casualties.

In total, about 20 settlements were subjected to artillery and mortar fire by the Russians in one day.

The regional military administration added that the Ukrainian military repelled 7 Russian attacks near Synkivka and Tabaivka in the Kupyan district.
