On the morning of January 25, the Russians again sent strike UAVs, previously known as “Shakheds”, to the capital region. In the city of Vyshneve in the Kyiv region, a hostile drone attack damaged 18 apartments in three multi-story buildings, broke window frames and glass, as well as 13 cars, said the acting head of the Kyiv regional military administration, Mykola Kalashnyk.
He also said that a girl born in 2019 received a stab wound to the neck. Medical workers from the regional children’s hospital provided the injured child with the necessary assistance. She is in satisfactory condition.
According to him, in one of the buildings, balconies from the fourth to eighth floors were destroyed, window frames were broken.
In one of the entrances, the floors of the staircases collapsed.
“All emergency services are on site. The entrances are being inspected, the damaged structures are being analyzed. The new building is partially occupied. Information about the victims has not been received,” Kalashnyk noted.
The State Emergency Service of Ukraine clarified in the morning: Russian drones hit a high-rise building in the city of Vyshneve.
“The balconies of a residential building from the 5th to 9th floors were destroyed. Emergency workers rescued three people from the 5th floor and two from the 7th floor of the building, two of them children. No injuries were reported. 42 rescuers and 7 pieces of equipment are working at the scene,” the report said.
The wreckage of the downed drones also caused consequences in another settlement in the Kyiv region.
“As a result of the Russian attack, a production building in the Fastiv district caught fire. The fire on an area of 600 square meters was extinguished. There were no victims or injuries,” the State Emergency Service added.
On the night of January 24, in Brovary and Hlevas in the Kyiv region, fires broke out in a ten-story building and a private house due to falling debris: three people died and one was injured.
