In the Kyiv region, a critical infrastructure object – the Prosecutor General’s Office – was damaged as a result of a drone attack

As a result of an attack by drones in Kyiv region, a critical infrastructure object was damaged, an investigation has been launched.

As reported by the Prosecutor General’s Office, under the procedural guidance of the Kyiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office, pre-trial investigations have been started in criminal proceedings on the facts of violation of the laws and customs of war (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

Damage to buildings and vehicles was also recorded on the territory of the region.

According to preliminary data, there are no victims or injured.

On New Year’s Eve, the police in the Kyiv region received more than 140 reports about the flight of enemy drones, the wreckage of the “Shaheed” was found in three districts of the region. Andrii Nebytov, the head of the National Security Service in the Kyiv region, announced this.

“On this New Year’s Eve, the salute in the Kyiv region was only from our defenders! Not a single message regarding the use of pyrotechnics in the territory of the region was recorded, but we received 140 calls from people to the “102” line about the detection of drones of martyrs in the sky!” Nebytov said.

“Debris of martyrs have already been discovered in three districts of the region,” he added.

According to him, the police continue to search for the remains of drones and record the war crimes of the aggressors

On the night of January 1, air defense forces destroyed 32 enemy air targets in the Kyiv region.

There is damage to the infrastructure object.

At night, Russia attacked Kyiv and the Kyiv region. All enemy air targets were shot down over the capital. At the same time, damage to an infrastructure object was recorded in the Kyiv region.

 “32 air targets were detected in the Kyiv region, all 32 were destroyed.

There is no information about the victims. The capital’s water and heat supply works normally,” the Kyiv City Military Administration explained.

As for the region, according to Oleksiy Kuleba, the head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, the region repelled an attack by martyr drones at night. Almost three dozen drones were launched in the Kyiv region.

“Preliminarily, there were no casualties. There is damage to the infrastructure object. Emergency services worked all night at the scene of the shooting,” Kuleba added.

We will remind you that on the night from December 31 to January 1, the Russian invaders attacked Ukraine with Iranian-made Shahed-131/136 kamikaze drones, of which 45 were shot down.

The Ministry of Defense of Russia reports that on the eve of the New Year, Kyiv was shelled, striking “the defense-industrial complex of Ukraine involved in the production of attack drones.”

Storage sites and launch sites for attack UAVs were also allegedly affected.

The occupiers declared that the goals had been achieved, so it is alleged that Ukraine will not be able to attack Russia in the near future.

Russia shelled Kyiv on December 31. The building of the capital hotel, Protasiv Yar, and the building of one of the Kyiv institutes were damaged.

Later, on the night of December 31 to January 1, the Russian invaders attacked Ukraine with Iranian-made Shahed kamikaze drones, of which 45 were shot down.

All 32 out of 32 Shaheds were shot down in the Kyiv region.

The movement of trains on the “red” line of the metro was carried out for several hours only from “Akademmistechka” to “Arsenalnaya”, as the fragments of a rocket were found at one of the stations. Now the metro is operating in normal mode: “Foreign objects similar, according to preliminary information, to the fragments of a rocket were found on the tracks of the open section.”

The explosives service is working on the spot, the resumption of traffic will be announced later.

Around 11:00, it became known that traffic on the “red” metro line from the “Akademmistechko” station to the “Lisova” station has been restored.

The explosives team removed a fragment of a rocket near the Livoberezhna metro station.
