On the night of January 22, Russian troops attacked the Kyiv region with kamikaze drones. The defense forces successfully destroyed the air targets, but debris from the downed UAVs caused damage in several settlements.
This was reported by the Kyiv regional military administration.
“There are no casualties among the population. Critical and residential infrastructure facilities were not hit,” said the acting head of the Kyiv regional military administration, Mykola Kalashnyk.
However, as a result of falling debris, one house was partially destroyed, and four more were damaged. Their windows were broken, facades and roofs were damaged. In another settlement, debris hit a power grid line.
Kalashnyk added that all owners of damaged houses will be provided with necessary assistance.
“We are working on this together with local authorities and our international partners. Operational groups continue to work to record the consequences of the Russian attack,” Kalashnik added.
