On the evening of January 6, the Russians attacked Mykolaiv region with kamikaze drones. As a result of the attack, a fire broke out at the recreation center. This was announced by the head of the Mykolaiv region Military Administration, Vitaly Kim, and the Defense Forces of the South: “On the evening of January 6, a “Shahed-131/136″ type UAV was hit in the recreation area, as a result of which one of the preserved recreation bases caught fire. The fire was extinguished promptly. No casualties.” He also reported that on January 6, at 10:47 a.m., the Russians fired artillery at the town of Ochakiv, Ochakivsk community. There are no casualties. Also, on January 6 at 11:28 a.m. and on the night of January 7 at 12:30 a.m., Russian artillery shelling was recorded in the settlement of the Kutsurub community. There are no casualties.
According to the Southern Defense Forces, the Russians launched Shahed-131/136 UAVs from the temporarily occupied Crimea and the eastern coast of the Sea of Azov along the coastal zone of Mykolayiv region and Odesa region, as well as in the direction of the central and western regions of Ukraine.
“In the Mykolayiv region, a hit took place in a recreation area, where a fire occurred at one of the preserved recreation centers. The fire was extinguished promptly. People were not injured,” the report said.
