
As reported by the Sumy regional prosecutor’s office, on May 28, at about 06:30 on the highway between the settlements of Yampil and Khutir-Mykhailovsky, two Russian FPV drones hit a Mercedes Benz minibus while it was moving. As a result of the attack, the car was damaged, and two civilians were also injured. The injured were a couple – a 67-year-old driver and a 65-year-old passenger.
They were transporting groceries to one of the border villages. At that moment, the Russians struck twice with drones. The people miraculously survived.
The injured have already been provided with the necessary assistance in the hospital. Fortunately, there is no threat to their lives.
Traveling through the border areas of Sumy Region remains extremely dangerous due to the high activity of Russian drones and cynical attacks by Russians on civilians and transport, the Sumy Region Military Administration reported.
They independently turned to the Shostka Central District Hospital at around 3:00 p.m., where they were provided with outpatient care. The victims were diagnosed with acubarotrauma. There is currently no threat to their lives and health.
