In the Odesa region, about 65 houses were destroyed by a missile strike

Today, June 28, 22, Russia’s treacherous war against Ukraine lasts 124 days. The question of capturing Ukraine does not arise at present, and the armed forces and forces of Ukraine’s territorial defense are inflicting enormous losses on the occupiers. In a powerless rage, enemy aircraft and missile forces continue to bomb peaceful cities, destroying homes and infrastructure.

A pre-trial investigation has been launched into the shelling of civilians in the Odesa region, and the missile attack by the Russian army is considered a violation of the laws and customs of war, the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine reported.

“According to the investigation, on the night of June 27, 2022, the Russian armed forces, ignoring the norms of international humanitarian law, launched a missile strike on a residential area of one of the border villages of Odessa district,” the agency said.

As a result of the attack, about 65 private houses were damaged, four of them burned completely. The Prosecutor General’s Office has preliminary data on eight civilians who received multiple injuries. Among them are two three-year-old twins.

The agency stressed that there were no military facilities near the shooting site. The investigation suggests that Russian troops hit the village with an X-22 cruise missile.
