On October 27, Russian troops once again targeted emergency responders in Zaporizhzhia. A Russian drone struck a fire-rescue vehicle while firefighters were dealing with the consequences of an earlier attack.
The fire tanker truck was damaged in the strike.
According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, the responders were working at the site of a previous Russian shelling in the suburbs of Zaporizhzhia when the Russians launched a follow-up strike. A fire tanker truck was damaged as a result.
Fortunately, none of the emergency responders were injured. Russian forces have repeatedly targeted emergency service vehicles in the Zaporizhzhia region. Recently, four rescuers were wounded when a State Emergency Service vehicle was struck in Kushuhum.
