Over the past two months, 64 civilians, including four children, were killed in Sumy Region as a result of Russian shelling.
This was reported by the head of the Sumy regional military administration Volodymyr Artyukh: “Over the past two months, four children have died in the region, a total of 64 civilians.”
Artyukh also noted that 79 wounded civilians were recorded during Russian shelling of the border communities of Sumy Region.
According to the head of the Sumy regional military administration, shelling of the Sumy region’s border from outside the Russian Federation has significantly increased – more than a hundred explosions are recorded every day as a result of shelling by the Russians from mortars, artillery, tanks and MLRS.
The last and most brutal attack by the Russians, which resulted in the death of three civilians, including a 7-year-old girl, and the wounding of three others, fell on the town of Seredyna-Buda on November 28. Then the Russians covered the town with anti-aircraft missiles.
On the night of December 8, the Russians carried out 2 shellings of the border territories and settlements of the Sumy region.
6 explosions from mortars were recorded. Krasnopilsk and Seredino-Budsk communities were shelled.
