During March 8, rescuers of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine fought the consequences of Russian attacks in the Zaporizhizhia and Polohiv districts.
This was reported by the press service of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Zaporizhizhia region.
In the village of Bilenke, firefighters extinguished a fire in a garage and two cars, which covered an area of 90 square meters. In the Polohiv district, dry grass burned twice in an open area with a total area of over 2 hectares. There were no victims or injured.
Sappers neutralized a number of dangerous objects, including a missile warhead, two improvised explosive devices, a grenade launcher shot and a fragmentation grenade, found in various settlements of the region.
In addition, the medical team of the State Emergency Service, operating in the frontline areas, provided assistance to a 71-year-old local resident, transporting her to a stabilization point for processing postoperative sutures.
To meet the needs of residents of the frontline areas, the State Emergency Service employees transported 25 tons of technical water. Thanks to the coordinated work of rescuers, the consequences of the shelling were quickly eliminated, and civilians received the necessary assistance.
Due to the Russian attack in the Zaporizhizhia region, a fire broke out at a gas supply facility. It was extinguished within 5 hours.
