In Zaporizhzhia, on the morning of August 28, Russian troops launched a missile strike on the territory of an industrial enterprise. Eight apartment buildings were damaged.
This was reported by the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration Ivan Fedorov: “At dawn, the Russians launched a missile strike on the regional center. They aimed at the territory of an industrial enterprise. A fire broke out. Nearby residential buildings were damaged.”
He added that the relevant services have already begun eliminating the consequences of the attack. An examination of the surrounding buildings is underway to identify all damage.
During August 27-28, the Russian army carried out 495 attacks on 15 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region. Four people were injured in the shelling in the Polohiv and Zaporizhzhia districts.
In particular, one missile strike was recorded on Zaporizhzhia, 11 airstrikes on Orekhovo, Hulyaipol, Uspenivka, Bilogirya and Malynovka. The occupiers also launched three MLRS strikes on Shcherbaki and Malaya Tokmachka.
In addition, the Russians attacked the region with 363 drones, mainly FPV drones – 12 settlements in the region were affected. Also, 117 artillery shells were recorded in the last 24 hours alone.
In total, more than 30 reports of the destruction of houses, apartments, outbuildings, cars and infrastructure were received.
