In Zaporizhzhia region, a residential building caught fire due to Russian shelling

On November 29, rescuers in Zaporizhzhia region eliminated the consequences of combat shelling. This was reported by the press service of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Zaporizhzhia region.

In Polohivskyi district, a fire broke out in the village of Preobrazhenka due to Russian shelling: a residential building with an area of ​​120 square meters was on fire. Emergency workers extinguished the fire and prevented it from spreading to other buildings.

On November 29, rescuers also made six trips, in particular, extinguishing two fires that did not occur due to shelling.

Thus, at 16:59 on November 29, a bathhouse caught fire in one of the settlements of Zaporizhzhia region. The fire also damaged a garage located nearby. There were no injuries.

According to the preliminary version, the cause was a violation of the rules for installing a chimney. 10 rescuers and 2 units of equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire.

The State Emergency Service calls on residents of the region to be careful when using stove heating: monitor the condition of chimneys, check draft, and prevent stoves from overheating, as these violations most often cause fires and carbon monoxide poisoning during the cold season.
