The Russian invaders took the premises belonging to the Mennonite Brethren Church. We are talking about the old premises built in 1892 in the village of Kutuzivka and the new premises in Molochansk. The premises were taken back in August, but only now, when the members of the community were evacuated, Pastor Oleksiy Makaiov informed about it.
Before the occupation, the new building was used for religious services, youth work and family service. Church meetings and other events were held in the old building. In addition, there was a specially equipped shelter that looked after lonely elderly women. On their behalf, the occupiers distributed aid prepared by the Mennonites. And when it ended, the premises were handed over to the branch of the United Russia party.
