
According to the Sumy Regional Prosecutor’s Office, on March 7, at around 7:00 a.m., the Russian army attacked a gas station with a drone in the Stepanivka community of the Sumy district. A 24-year-old man died as a result of the strike, and a 22-year-old was injured.
Maksym Moroz, a resident of the village of Stepanivka, died as a result of the strike by a Russian drone. This was reported by the village head Volodymyr Lukash:
“Maksym Moroz and Serhiy Kovalenko were driving to the regional center to work. The drone hit Maksym’s car, as a result of which he died. Serhiy received serious injuries and was provided with medical assistance. He is currently under the supervision of doctors.”
Under the procedural guidance of the Sumy District Prosecutor’s Office, a pre-trial investigation is being conducted into the commission of war crimes that caused the death of a person (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
