Kamianske, Dnipropetrovsk region, is recovering after the Russian attack: work to eliminate the consequences is in the final stage

Despite the night shelling on December 8, which caused significant damage to residential buildings in Kamianske, work to eliminate the consequences is already in the final stage.

This was reported by the head of the Dnipropetrovsk regional military administration, Serhiy Lysak.

On the night of December 8, as soon as it became safe to work, municipal services left for the sites of the attacks. About 100 workers and 20 units of equipment were involved in eliminating the consequences of the Russian attack.

Municipal workers quickly restored the damaged street lighting, temporarily covered the broken windows with film and OSB boards, which were provided by the city authorities. Work was also carried out to remove construction debris.

In the morning, charitable organizations joined the liquidation of the consequences, providing additional assistance to the victims.

According to preliminary data, about 30 reports of property damage were received from local residents. It is important to note that no appeals regarding the need for evacuation were received.

Thanks to the joint efforts of utility workers, philanthropists and local authorities, heat, water and electricity supply were restored in the homes of Kamianets-Podilskyi residents. However, as an additional security measure, the Invincibility Points remain open in the city, where residents can get everything they need.

We remind you that the city was damaged during a massive attack by drones from the Russian side on the night of December 8. Civilian objects were damaged due to falling debris. One victim is also known.
