Kharkiv attacked by new Russian drone

On the night of June 30, the use of a new type of attack drone called “Chernika” by Russian troops was recorded for the first time during another attack on Kharkiv. This was reported by the chairman Igor Terekhov.

According to Terekhov, the Russians continue to purposefully attack the city, despite their losses and the resistance of the Ukrainian defense forces. Over the past seven days, 16 strikes have been made on Kharkiv.

“Most often, the Russians hit with “Shakheds”, but also specialists from the Department of Emergency Situations recorded a strike with a new type of drone called “Chernika” for the first time,” Igor Terekhov noted.

According to the chairman, the new drone resembles the “Lightning” in terms of combat characteristics, but it has a different design, which allows us to consider it a separate development.

As a result of the use of “Chernika”, several cars in the garage cooperative were damaged.

Emergency specialists continue to analyze the wreckage and determine the technical features of the new drone.

General situation in Kharkiv over the past week:

During June 30, Russian troops carried out 16 attacks on the city, using various types of drones and ammunition.

At least four civilians were injured, including a child.

Both residential buildings and civilian enterprises in the Nemyshlyanskyі, Kyivskyі and Industrial districts suffered significant damage.

On the night of June 30, the Kharkiv region was attacked by drones, resulting in large-scale fires in a number of settlements. Eight victims were reported, including one child.
