Kharkiv has been cut off, the rubble is being cleared

On January 23, at 04:00 and 07:15, the Russians launched 12 strikes on the Kyivskуі and Saltivskуі districts of the city. They were fired with S-300 and Kh-22 missiles. This was reported in the communication department of the police of the Kharkiv region. Destroyed civil infrastructure: multi-apartment residential buildings, an educational institution, premises of a shopping center. Damaged cars. Investigative and operative groups, forensic experts and explosives technicians are working at the scene of the events. According to the fact of violation of the laws and customs of war, the investigators opened criminal proceedings under Art. 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

At the moment, it is known about eight dead and 62 injured.

As of this morning, it was known about 5 dead people, later the body of a 21-year-old girl was recovered from the rubble. In addition, rescuers unblocked the body of a dead woman and a 12-year-old girl from under the rubble of the destroyed high-rise building. Oleg Sinegubov, head of the regional military administration, noted that its data are being established. 62 people were injured. Among the injured are eight children. Also, three police officers who were clearing debris at the scene were injured. Debris clearance is ongoing. Emergency services are on site.

According to Synegubov, 11,000 subscribers were cut off in the city. Power was restored to 10,000 consumers. It is expected that by the end of the day, the light will be returned to other homes of Kharkiv residents.

In the Saltivskуі district, 69 high-rise buildings were destroyed – about 1.7 thousand windows were broken and 900 – in public areas.
