Kharkiv region was shelled almost 4 thousand times in a year: 420 civilians died

In 2024, 3.9 thousand Russian shellings were recorded in Kharkiv region, 361 of them in Kharkiv.

As a result of Russian strikes in Kharkiv region this year, 420 civilians died, including 18 children, the head of Kharkiv regional military administration Oleg Synegubov said at a briefing on December 26. 2641 people in the region were injured, 196 of them were children.

“The Russians changed their tactics compared to last year. In addition to missiles, which were 441, they are using guided aerial bombs. 1433 guided aerial bombs of completely different types, from UMPB D-30 to FAB-500-1500. And according to unconfirmed data, FAB-3000 were used in Vovchansk. Multiple launch rocket systems, other types of weapons,” said Synegubov.

Russian aggression destroyed or damaged more than 10,000 civilian infrastructure facilities in the Kharkiv region, including 2,542 facilities in Kharkiv.

The housing stock was hit the hardest. Of the 5,990 apartment and private buildings in the Kharkiv region, 969 were hit in Kharkiv.

Russia strikes the Kharkiv region every day: after December 26, four more civilians died in Russian strikes – in Slatyne, Zolochiv, Dvorichna and Kivsharivka.
