Last week, August 22-28, Kharkiv experienced 19 Russian attacks, most of which fell on the evening of September 23. Then Russian kamikaze drones massively attacked the city.
This was reported by the chairman Igor Terekhov.
Of the 18 “shaheeds”, most hit a substation, leaving several districts without electricity. The power has now been restored, but the system is operating on a backup scheme, so interruptions are possible.
On the same evening, a residential area in the Kholodnohirskyі district was hit. 15 private houses were damaged there and a store was destroyed.
On the evening of September 26, the Russians attacked Kharkiv again. A Molniya drone pierced the roof of a furniture store in the Kyivsky district. Four women were injured: three suffered a stress reaction, one injured her hand. The blast wave also shattered the windshield of a municipal bus passing by.
The total duration of air raids in the city for the week was 61 hours. This is almost half the average for the region.
The chairman thanked the military for their protection, the power and heat engineers for restoring electricity, the utilities for their work, and the Kharkiv residents for their endurance and faith in the city.
