Khmelnytskyi region launches investigation into drone strike

Khmelnytskyi region law enforcement officers have launched a pre-trial investigation into a strike by enemy drones on the night of January 18.

This was reported by the Khmelnytskyi regional prosecutor’s office.

According to their information, a pre-trial investigation has been launched into the commission of war crimes (Part 2, Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

On ​​the night of January 18, unidentified servicemen of the Russian Armed Forces launched a drone strike in the Khmelnytskyi region,” the report says.

As a result of the strike, as already reported, a fire broke out on the territory of a private enterprise in the Khmelnytskyi district.

According to the prosecutor’s office, the consequences of the shelling are being recorded and documented on site.

Additionally, the head of the Khmelnytskyi Regional Military Administration, Serhiy Tyurin, informed that as a result of the night attack in the Starokostyantynivska community, windows in an apartment, a culture house, and a store were damaged. There were no injuries or deaths.
