Kidnapped Ruslan Abdurakhmanov is sent to a maximum security colony

A resident of the Genichesk district, Ruslan Abdurakhmanov, who was kidnapped by Russian occupiers, is sent to a maximum security colony. Ruslan’s wife Feride Abdurakhmanova reported this to the Crimean Human Rights Group.

It is known that he is currently in the Verkhneuralsk prison in the Chelyabinsk region. The political prisoner’s health is serious; he often experiences convulsions, his limbs fail, and he has had micro-infarctions. Ruslan needs spinal surgery to remove three hernias in the cervical spine. According to the political prisoner’s wife, they are not going to provide him with surgical treatment, they are only giving him pills. Instead of surgery, they decided to send him further to Siberia.

Ruslan Abdurakhmanov was kidnapped last August from the house where he lived with his family. Until January 2022, he was kept in the second pre-trial detention center in Simferopol in harsh conditions, then transferred to the Chelyabinsk region.
