Kiev was hit with “Daggers” («Kinzhals») – the consequences of the night attack on the capital of Ukraine

Russian troops continue to bombard Ukraine with rockets and “Shaheds”. On the night of March 9, the  Russians launched a new massive missile attack on Ukraine.

Russian troops attacked the capital with “Daggers” (“Kinzhal”) missiles, inconspicuous for anti-aircraft defense. This was announced by the head of the city state administration, Serhiy Popko.

“On March 9, the Russians carried out another massive air attack on Ukraine. In the capital, the alarm lasted for almost seven hours. During this time, the Russian troops released almost every type of their air weaponry – from “Shaheds” barrage munitions to almost every name of cruise missiles. Thanks to the work of air defense, cruise missile and UAV strikes were not allowed in the capital. But, unfortunately, an aeroballistic missile of the “Daggers” (“Kinzhal”) type hit the infrastructure object,” the message reads.

The situation in Kyiv:

• there is a hit to an infrastructure object in the Holosiiv district;
• two people were injured by rocket fragments in Sviatoshyn district. The remains of the rocket damaged cars;
• emergency power outages are partially involved in the capital.

40% of consumers in Kyiv are without heating due to emergency power outages, Vitaliy Klitschko reported. Water supply works as usual.

All services worked on the ground. In Sviatoshyn district, two people were injured by fragments of a rocket. They are provided with medical assistance. The remains of the rocket also damaged cars.
