Konstantinovka in the Donetsk region is one step away from a humanitarian catastrophe

The front-line Konstantinovka, Donetsk region, is on the verge of a humanitarian catastrophe due to regular shelling by the Russian army.

This was stated on June 25 by the head of the Donetsk regional military administration, Vadim Filashkin.

According to him, almost half of the city has lost power due to Russian shelling. Energy workers are trying to repair the damage, but this is not always possible due to the security situation.

Almost 2,000 residential buildings remain without gas supply. It is impossible to restore it under current conditions.

People who remained in the city can only make do with water supply for three hours a day – from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Water tanks and containers have been installed in the city, and 12 wells are operating. Half of them are equipped with purifiers.

Also, five “Invincibility Points” are operating in Kostyantynivka, and two more are on standby.

City bus flights have been canceled, as the Russians are actively attacking the city using FPV drones. The bus route to neighboring Druzhkivka is operating on a limited basis.

Despite everything, doctors, utility workers, police, and authorities are working in the city. But the enemy is systematically destroying critical infrastructure,” the head of the regional military administration emphasized.
