Kyiv region: rescuers put out fire after drone attack at enterprise

On the night of September 8, a fire broke out at an industrial enterprise in Kyiv region as a result of a Russian UAV attack. The fire was extinguished by 29 rescuers and 5 pieces of equipment. There were no victims or injured. The blast wave damaged a shopping center and a fitness club in the Obukhiv district.

The drone attack at night caused a fire on the territory of an industrial enterprise. According to the State Emergency Service, 29 rescuers and 5 special vehicles worked quickly at the scene.

The fire was extinguished, no deaths or injuries were recorded. At the same time, the blast wave damaged several buildings, including a shopping center and a fitness club in the Obukhiv district.

Units of the State Emergency Service of Kyiv region were involved in extinguishing the fire. Work to clear the area and inspect the damage is ongoing.

The attacks in the Kyiv region have once again demonstrated the vulnerability of civilian infrastructure to Russian drone strikes. Despite the rapid response of rescuers, damage was not only to industrial facilities but also to socially important institutions. For residents of the region, this means the continued risk of repeated attacks and the need for increased attention to air raid warnings.
