On the night of November 17, Russian troops carried out a massive missile and drone attack on the Kyiv region. The goal of the Russian Federation was peaceful settlements and infrastructure facilities.

Air defense forces worked actively, managed to shoot down Russian missiles and drones, which made it possible to avoid hitting critical and residential infrastructure. However, a 45-year-old woman suffered a head injury. All necessary medical assistance is provided.
Infrastructure in four districts of the region was damaged due to falling fragments of downed targets. 21 private houses, 5 outbuildings, a shop, 2 garages, an administrative building and 5 cars were damaged.
As a result of the shelling, emergency power outages were introduced in the region, about 125,000 subscribers were left without electricity. Work on restoration of power supply continues.
466 unbreakable points have been deployed to support the population in conditions of blackouts. The authorities, together with international partners, are working to help the victims and restore the damaged infrastructure.
Currently, law enforcement officers continue to work at the scene and record the consequences of the attack.
