Large-scale missile attack on Ukraine: explosions rang out in Kyiv and 5 other regions

Air defense forces worked in Kyiv, Cherkasy, Khmelnytskyi regions, Kharkiv, Rivne, and Lviv region, explosions rang out. Russians resorted to a massive missile attack.

This was reported by Kyiv Regional Military Administration, Khmelnytsky Regional Military Administration, Head of Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleg Synegubov, Head of Cherkasy Regional Military Administration Ihor Taburets.

Synegubov reported that the Russians attacked Kharkiv – 6 explosions rang out in the city. In particular, in the Slobid district.

“There is damage to civil infrastructure, information about the victims is being checked,” he wrote.

Explosions were also heard in Kyiv and the region. The authorities reported that air defense forces were operating in the region.

An explosion rang out in the Darnytskyi district of the capital during an air raid warning in the morning of September 21, 7 people were injured. Debris also fell in the Holosiiv and Shevchenkiv districts of the city, a gas pipe was damaged, rescuers are putting out fires.

“In the Sviatoshyn district, where there were power outages, power workers restored the power supply. According to detailed information from doctors, 7 people were injured in the Darnytsia district. Three of them are in the city’s hospitals. Four received help on the spot,” Klitschko wrote.

The head of the regional military administration, Serhiy Popko, clarified that in the Holosiiv and Darnytskyi districts of the capital, debris fell as a result of air defense operations.

The Air Defense Forces also worked in the Cherkasy and Khmelnytskyi regions.

Citizens were urged to observe informational silence: “We urge you not to film or post the work of our defenders on the network.”

Later, the head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration reported on the explosions in the Drohobytsky district. Information about victims and destruction is being clarified.
