Local resident dies as a result of shelling of Dnipro district of Kherson and of Belozerka

According to the investigation, on December 2, 2024, at about 10:00 p.m., Russian servicemen carried out artillery shelling of the Dnipro district of Kherson.

A 75-year-old woman died as a result of a targeted shell hitting a private house. Prosecutors, together with investigators, are taking all necessary measures to document crimes committed by servicemen of the Russian armed forces.

Also, a 44-year-old man died as a result of Russian shelling of Belozerka on December 3. This was reported by the Kherson regional prosecutor’s office.

Two more men, 45 and 48 years old, were injured and wounded.

According to the Kherson Regional Military Administration, the 48-year-old victim had a mine-explosive injury and a forearm wound. He was hospitalized.

A man, 45 years old, received a shrapnel wound to his lower leg. Doctors provided him with assistance. He refused hospitalization.

Under the procedural leadership of the Oleshkiv District Prosecutor’s Office, a pre-trial investigation into the commission of a war crime related to intentional murder has been launched.
