During the day, the Russian army shelled the Nikopol district, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk regional military administration, Serhii Lysak, reported on the evening of May 7.
According to his data, the Russian army released 14 kamikaze drones in the area and shelled it twice with artillery. Explosions rang out in Nikopol, Pokrovska, Mirivska and Marganetska communities.
At first, Lysak reported on four victims: women aged 91 and 50 and men aged 37 and 40, one of them in serious condition.
“10 private houses, 3 garages and the same number of farm buildings were damaged. The greenhouse and greenhouse were broken. One car was mutilated, another was destroyed. Power lines were affected,” said the head of the regional military administration.
Later, he noted that the number of victims in Nikopol region had increased:
“A 6-year-old girl was injured by one of the Russian strikes. And also – a 51-year-old man. They were given medical assistance and will be treated at home. Thus, six people were injured in the district during the day.”
In addition, the Russian army also carried out a drone attack on the Zelenodol community in Kryvorizka district.
“A 56-year-old man was injured. He was hospitalized in a moderate condition. Residential buildings were damaged,” Lysak wrote on his social networks.
The Russian military regularly attacks Ukrainian regions with various types of weapons – attack UAVs, missiles, guided aerial bombs, and anti-aircraft missiles. Despite the evidence and testimony, Moscow has denied a targeted attack on civilians since the start of the full-scale invasion.
