Police are recording the consequences of Russian shelling of the Dnipropetrovsk region, reports with reference to law enforcement officers.
Settlements of Marhanetska, Pokrovska, Chervonogryhorivska and Myrivska territorial communities, as well as the cities of Nikopol and Marhanets, were once again under shelling by the Russian army.
On January 7, artillery shelling caused damage to market stalls, an administrative building, private houses, a greenhouse and an outbuilding in the city of Nikopol. Two more private residential houses and fences were damaged by a Russian FPV drone.
In other settlements of the Nikopol district, power lines were cut off during the shelling, solar panels and residential buildings were damaged.
Police investigative and operational groups worked at the sites of Russian strikes, collecting physical evidence and documenting the consequences of the shelling.
On January 7, the police responded to 50 statements and reports from citizens about war crimes by the Russian Federation.
