Massive attack by “Shaheeds” on the Dnipro: cars burned, houses and enterprises damaged

On the night of August 7, the Russians massively attacked the city with drones.

On the night of August 7, the Dnipro came under a massive attack by “Shaheeds”. Dozens of explosions were heard in different districts of the city, mainly on the right bank. According to the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, people, as well as housing and enterprises, were injured.

“Four people were injured as a result of the attack in the Dnipro. A 43-year-old man and a 69-year-old woman were hospitalized in moderate condition,” said the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Serhiy Lysak.

According to him, several fires broke out. In particular, an administrative building and cars were burning in the city. 12 cars were destroyed, another 17 were damaged. The drone attack also damaged 8 residential buildings, and one private residence was destroyed. There is damage to the territory of a transport enterprise.

Residents of the city also reported fires that raged throughout the night, so rescuers had to work hard.

After the night strike on the Dnipro, the building of the Samara district court was damaged. The District territorial center for staffing and social support was also temporarily suspended.

As of the morning of August 7, violations in the work of the judicial infrastructure were recorded. In particular, the court archive is temporarily not functioning, and the issuance of answers to official requests has also been suspended. The message notes that due to the damage received, processing of incoming correspondence is impossible until normal working conditions are restored.

The dates for the resumption of the archive and the resumption of full-fledged activities of the court are not yet specified. Citizens are advised to take this information into account when planning their appeals, as well as to monitor further messages on official sources.

In addition to the damage received by the courthouse, the Samara regional territorial center for staffing and social support has also temporarily suspended its work. The center’s employees reported that the activity has been suspended and recommended that residents of the region monitor the updates. No specific dates for the resumption of work were specified.
