On the night of November 26, the Russians launched dozens of kamikaze drones across the territory of Ukraine. The air alert in some regions lasted all night. Ternopil suffered the most: there is no electricity supply in the city.
During the night attack, Russian UAVs damaged one of the critical infrastructure facilities. Fortunately, there were no human casualties. Firefighters and police are working at the scene.
As noted by the Ternopil regional military administration, the massive drone attack damaged the networks of the national energy company “Ukrenergo”. In this regard, network restrictions are being introduced in the Ternopil region for consumers.
On the morning of November 26, the Chairman of Ternopil Serhiy Nadal reported that due to the shelling and damage to the electrical infrastructure that powers Ternopil, some restrictions are being introduced in the city. “Energy workers are gradually restoring the city’s power supply. Let’s hope that this will happen as soon as possible,” he noted.
In Ternopil, trolleybuses will temporarily not run, buses will be released instead. The municipal enterprise “Ternopilvodokanal” is gradually restoring centralized water supply: there may be low pressure.
Most of the city’s boiler houses are functioning, and if necessary, their work will also be supported by generators. Schools and kindergartens will operate as usual: those that do not have centralized power supply will operate from generators. Medical institutions are operating as usual, and if necessary, institutions are equipped with generators. Citizens are also asked not to use elevators, even in buildings where there is light.
