The massive shelling of Nikopol on April 25, unfortunately, did not go without victims – the Russians were chasing the area, where there are always many people. There is a lot of destruction in the city.
Information about the consequences of shelling as of the evening of April 25 was made public in the district military administration, the police and the prosecutor’s office.
According to the chief of the district military administration
Yevhen Yevtushenko, on April 25, there were six artillery attacks and eleven applications of kamikaze drones in the area. Nikopol and the settlements of Marganetska and Myrivska communities fell under the Russian attack. As Oleksandr Sayuk, the chairman of Nikopol, reported earlier, all 11 drones were directed to Nikopol.
Evgeny Yevtushenko reports that out of eleven FPV-kamikaze Four were neutralized by the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
During the day, four people were injured in Nikopol:
Two people were injured as a result of artillery shelling, two as a result of a kamikaze anti-aircraft fire attack. All hospitalized patients are in a moderate condition and received the necessary assistance.
According to the police, the projectiles were aimed at the city market in Nikopol.
In total, four private houses, one farm building, infrastructure facilities, a greenhouse, a cafe, a market, a garage, two cars and minibuses were mutilated in the area.
In the evening, the Russians again attacked Nikopol with the help of fpv-kamikaze. The consequences are clarified. I ask residents of coastal settlements to spend the night in a storage facility or use the rule of two walls, Yevhen Yevtushenko urged.
