The Russian “authority” brought at least 50,000 workers from the depressed regions of the Russian Federation and the countries of Central Asia to Mariupol. This was announced by the Center of National Resistance: “According to our data, there are already about 50,000 Russians and representatives of Central Asia in the temporarily occupied Mariupol.” According to their information, twice as many people live in Mariupol now as before the full-scale invasion. To cover the labor shortage, people are brought to Mariupol from the depressed regions of Russia and the countries of Central Asia. They not only perform hard work, but also contribute to the assimilation of the Ukrainian population.
In addition to just workers, Russian criminality is brought to Mariupol. Migrants are already forming gangs in Mariupol.
The number of patients with viral infections is also increasing in Mariupol. The Russians do not provide information on whether this is an outbreak of ARVI or a coronavirus disease. Due to the low level of medicine in the occupation, morbidity is increasing and an epidemic is possible in the city.
In addition, the deputy of the Mariupol city council, Dmytro Zabavin, reported that the temporarily captured city has huge problems with heating and electricity.
