Militarization continues: Russians take children from Berdyansk to a camp in the Russian Federation

Russian military took a group of children from the temporarily occupied part of the Zaporizhzhia region, in particular Berdyansk. For the winter holidays, the teenagers were sent to the Russian defense and sports camp “Avangard” called “Pride of the Nation”.

This was reported by the Berdyansk city military administration.

The camp program included military and sports games, fire and tactical training classes. Such activities are aimed at ensuring that teenagers join Russian armed forces in the future and are ready to fight against Ukraine. Hundreds of children from the temporarily occupied territories pass through such camps.

“Under the guise of “educational orientation” and “acquaintance with the history of the country”, the Russians conducted propaganda classes, imposing Russian ideology and a distorted vision of history on children. All this is part of a large-scale plan to destroy Ukrainian identity. “This is not an isolated case, but a systemic practice of the occupation authorities,” the Berdyansk City Military Administration reported.
