“Military targets” were attacked in shopping malls and car showrooms: Kim told the details of the night shelling of Mykolaiv

On the night of May 17, Russia attacked Mykolaiv. There were 3 arrivals. Due to the impact of munitions and their fragments, there is partial destruction of a car dealership, a shopping center and a building at an industrial infrastructure facility.

This was announced by the head of the Mykolaiv regional military administration, Vitaly Kim.

Details of the missile attack on Mykolaiv

Vitaly Kim said that there were 3 arrivals. One of them is in an open area. There was a fire with an area of 100 square meters, which was contained in half an hour.

The head of the Mykolaiv regional military administration noted that the greatest damage was caused between the car showroom and the shopping center, the occupiers hit between them.

Fortunately, there were no casualties. Due to the blast wave, the woman fell and was injured.

The so-called “military targets” located in shopping centers and car dealerships were attacked again. My personal conclusion is that these are new batches of rockets that are not working well. They were all taken in August. Apparently, sanctions are in effect, so these missiles do not fly very accurately. For the second time, one of the four did not reach the target, – the official thinks.

Prosecutors, investigators of the Security Service of Ukraine and the police, criminologists of the Main Office of the National Police in the region worked at the scene of the incident. It is known that on May 16, at 23:08, Mykolaiv was hit by a Russian missile. Private and high-rise buildings and shops were damaged by the blast wave. In addition, an industrial infrastructure object was hit. Fires broke out, which, according to the press service of the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Mykolaiv region, were promptly extinguished by rescue units.

It is also known that during the night from May 15 to 16, the forces and means of air defense of the Southern Air Command shot down four Russian Kalibr sea-based cruise missiles launched by the Russians from the Black Sea.

In general, according to the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, all 18 missiles that were fired on the territory of Ukraine that night were destroyed by the forces and means of air defense of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In addition, on May 15 at 5:05 p.m., the Russians fired artillery at the water area of the Ochakiv community. There were no injuries or damage.

Also, on May 16, at 08:50, the Russians launched artillery strikes on the water area of the Ochakiv community. There are no casualties.

At 09:53 and 17:28 artillery shelling was carried out on the town of Ochakiv and the coastline of the Ochakiv community. There are no casualties.
