Missile attack: critical infrastructure facilities hit in Lviv region

In the Drohobych and Stryi districts of the Lviv region, two critical infrastructure facilities were hit as a result of a missile attack.

This was reported by the head of the regional military administration, Maksym Kozytsky.

He reported that during the first air alert at night, air defense forces shot down a Russian strike drone.

In the morning, the region was attacked with cruise missiles.

“There are two critical infrastructure facilities hit in the Drohobych and Stryi districts. Fortunately, no casualties, but with destruction. The region’s life support systems are operating normally. No power outages are being introduced at the moment,” Kozytsky wrote.

Later, he added that a residential building and an outbuilding were damaged due to a missile strike in the village of Sknyliv, Zolochiv district. A crater formed near the house, measuring 6 by 5 meters in diameter and about 2.5 meters deep. All relevant services were dispatched to the scene. There were no victims or casualties.

In Ivano-Frankivsk region, the Russians also targeted critical infrastructure facilities. “In Prykarpattia, the target was critical infrastructure facilities. Air defense forces were operating in the region. Fortunately, there were no casualties. Relevant services are operating at the scene. The situation is under control,” said Svitlana Onyshchuk, head of the regional military administration.

In Kirovohrad and Cherkasy regions, debris from downed Russian drones damaged residential buildings, the heads of military administrations reported. There were no casualties.
