Missile attack on Dvorichnaya: Two women remain under the rubble for a day

According to him, the administration building in Dvorichnaya was destroyed as a result of a Russian missile attack. Two people were injured, two more people are still under the rubble. According to preliminary findings, the two women who remain under the rubble do not show signs of life, they may have received injuries that are not compatible with life.

In turn, the head of the National Police of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region, Volodymyr Tymoshko, noted that the Russians struck again with a missile from the S-300 air defense system, when rescuers and police officers arrived at the scene of the attack. As a result of the repeated impact, the police car was damaged.

Oleksandr Volobuev, Head of the Main Directorate of the State Service of Ukraine for Emergency Situations of Ukraine in the Kharkiv Region, added that 4 vehicles of the State Emergency Service came under repeated fire. He noted that during the 30 minutes of work in the Dvorichnaya area of ​​the rescue operation, about 20 blows were inflicted, so the rescuers were temporarily forced to suspend work. However, according to Volobuyev, the women under the rubble do not show signs of life.

We will remind you that yesterday, February 23, around 10:00, the enemy launched a rocket attack on the village of Dvorichna in the Kupyan district. The 4-story building of the administration of the settlement council was destroyed. 

There was a fire. There was information that there might be people under the rubble. During emergency rescue operations, a whole series of repeated shelling occurred. As a result of the shelling, 4 fire-rescue and emergency-rescue vehicles of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, as well as special equipment and generators, were damaged. The rescuers had to stop work and return to the places of permanent deployment.

All the victims are residents of the Kupyan district.

Russia shelled the border settlements of Kupyan, Chuguyiv and Kharkiv districts.

Over the past day, nine people were injured by shelling in the Kharkiv region. This was announced by the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleg Synegubov.

In particular, as a result of shelling in the morning of February 23, a man and a woman were injured in the village of Dvorichna (Kupiansky district). The occupiers hit the administrative building with S-300 missiles. Two people remained under the rubble.

When the rescuers were working at the site of the shelling in Dvorichnaya, the occupiers struck again. Four cars of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine were damaged. Rescue operations were suspended.

During the past day, the Russian army struck Kupyansk and the surrounding villages. Two women and a man were wounded in Kupyansk. Four people were injured in the Kupyan district, and all the wounded were hospitalized.

As a result of shelling, four residential buildings were destroyed in Kupyansk, houses and farm buildings were damaged, and fires broke out in Kupyansk district. 

According to the information of the Main Directorate of the State Service of Ukraine for Emergency Situations in the Kharkiv region, rescuers went four times to check the places where Russian shells hit in Vovchansk and Vovchanskyi Khutor.

Ten private houses and a library were damaged in Vovchansk, and a private house in Vovchansky Khutor.

Volodymyr Tymoshko, head of the Main Directorate of the National Police of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region, said this during a briefing on February 24.

According to him, during the year of the war, 2,272 people went missing, 1,311 of them remain unaccounted for today, 741 of them are civilians.

Tymoshko emphasized that work on appointment of genetic examinations has been accelerated in the Kharkiv region. Over the past few days, the bodies of about 60 dead people have been identified and handed over to their relatives for burial.

In the Kharkiv region, Russian aggression has been going on for exactly one year.

In Kharkiv region, 74 children died as a result of the Russian invasion.

Oleg Sinegubov, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, said this during a briefing on February 24.

According to him, about 18,000 objects have been damaged in the region, and 29 settlements in the region remain under occupation.

About 1,800 civilians were killed in the shelling, including 74 children, the youngest of whom was only 6 months old, and these losses are irreversible.

“We will not be able to restore this loss,” Sinegubov stated.

The occupiers set up torture chambers on the territory of the Kharkiv region.

Oleksandr Filchakov noted that the occupiers have set up torture chambers in various settlements of the region: in Kupyansky District – 9, Izyumskyi – 7, Dergachyvskyi – 4, and Chuguyivskyi – 1.

Law enforcement officers identified 112 people who were tortured by the occupiers, 8 of whom died. 

To this day, there are facts of forced detention of Ukrainians and torture by the Russian military and representatives of the illegal armed formations “LРR” and “DРR”.

 “The greatest number of persons who were illegally detained and subjected to torture there is the torture chamber, which was located in the premises of the Vovchan aggregate plant in the Chuguyiv district,” Oleksandr Filchakov said.
