Missile fragments wreaked havoc in several districts of Kyiv

The morning of January 2 in Kyiv began with massive rocket fire.

During the massive missile attack carried out by the Russians on the morning January 2 fragments of Russian targets were recorded in Kyiv. They fell in several districts of the capital.

The Kyiv City Military Administration informs about this. Also, in some areas, the lights went out in part of the houses.

“Kyiv: due to the attack, there is a temporary lack of light in some houses in the Shevchenkivskyi, Sviatoshynskyi, Holosiivskyi and Obolonskyi districts. As soon as the security situation allows, we will certainly restore the light to everyone,” the message reads.

Falling fragments of Russian missiles were recorded in the following areas: In Holosiivskyi district — on open territory; In the Pecherskyi district — on the roof of a 9-story residential building and on another multi-story building; In the Obolonskyі district – to a warehouse, where a fire broke out as a result; In the Sviatoshynskуі district, a social infrastructure building was hit; In the Podilskyі district, a gas pipe was damaged and fires broke out in several cities. In the Desnyanskуі district, a supermarket building caught fire.

There are victims who were hospitalized in the Solomyanskyі district of the capital. As noted by the chairman of Kyiv Vitaliy Klitschko, doctors continue to work on the spot.
