This was announced by the Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers Oleg Nemchinov, discussing the priorities of the transformation of public administration in Ukraine for victory, recovery and European integration: “Unfortunately, we have losses – more than 100 civil servants gave their lives for the freedom and independence of Ukraine.”
According to the minister, more than 70 people also went missing among civil servants.
Among the large number of those who are “illegally detained in the Russian Federation and in the temporarily occupied territories” there are also persons who previously held positions in the bodies of state power or local self-government, Nemchinov added.
The defense forces of Ukraine are doing everything possible to liberate Ukrainian land from Russian troops, and civil servants must take responsibility for the process of returning to normal life in the de-occupied territories.
