More than 1,000 strikes in two days: the Russians significantly increased the number of shelling of the Zaporizhzhia region

Last weekend, on February 17 and 18, the military of the Russian army struck 1,062 different types of weapons on 18 settlements of Zaporizhzhіa region. As a result of Russian shelling, 23 reports of the destruction of buildings and civil infrastructure were recorded.

On February 17 and 18, the Russians carried out 7 airstrikes on Novodarivka, Robotyn and Malia Tokmachka, attacked 200 times with unmanned aerial vehicles, fired 70 times with rocket salvo systems and 784 times with artillery, tanks and mortars on the towns and villages of the Pologiv and Vasyliv districts.

The Russian military also struck Zaporizhzhia with an Iskander-M missile. As a result, the territory of one of the city’s infrastructure facilities was damaged.

The Russians targeted the high-rise and private houses of Stepnohirsk. Destroyed houses of the civilian population in Gulyaipolе, Orichov and nearby villages.
