As of September 2023, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Russia, 2,804 settlements in 144 territorial communities of Ukraine are under temporary occupation
This is reported by the School of Political Analytics of the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy.
According to the response of the Ministry of Reintegration, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, 687 settlements in 87 territorial communities have been deoccupied.
As of September 2023, there are 2,804 settlements in 144 territorial communities that were occupied after February 24, 2022.
The Ministry currently does not have statistical data on the number of persons staying in the temporarily occupied territory.
From September 21, 2023, fake courts have been operating in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, which will pass sentences to all those who disagree with the Russian occupation.
Russian soldiers in the occupied territories are engaged in mass theft
In the occupied territories, the local population continues to suffer from the actions of servicemen of the Russian troops, who, due to the delay in financial support and lack of food, engage in mass theft, reports the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Thus, according to the General Staff, in the temporarily occupied city of Tokmak, Zaporizhzhia region, the occupiers force civilians to give them their pets, food products, and canned goods.
