More than 30 houses in the Svitlovodsk community were damaged by the attack of “shaheeds”

On the night of March 18, the Russian Federation attacked the Svitlovodsk community of the Oleksandriysk district of the Kirovohrad region with “shaheds”, as a result of which more than 30 residential buildings were damaged. However, local residents are recovering from what they experienced and are gradually rebuilding the damaged homes.

“The commission for surveying the damaged property is still underway, but according to its information, 34 houses have already been surveyed. The degree of damage is different, so we will be able to determine the help for everyone only after the completion of the commission,” said Svitlovodsk Mayor Andriy Malitsky.

Andriy Malitskyi also said that one-time financial aid will be paid to the residents of the community whose homes were damaged by the shelling:

“According to the procedure, we record these damages and the state will compensate. But separately now we will pay a one-time financial aid, in order to help our residents restore their property as soon as possible,” Malitsky informed.

Currently, the Svitlovodsk community cooperates with the public organization “April 10” from Kropyvnytskyi. Together with them, local residents cover damaged roofs and windows with film. In addition, the members of the organization brought some construction materials.

According to Andriy Malitskyi, after inspecting residential buildings, the commission will also begin inspecting industrial facilities affected by the drone attack.

Private industrial facilities and residential buildings were damaged in the Svitlovodsk community as a result of the night attack of the “Shaheeds”.
