More than 450 buildings were damaged in Zaporizhzhia as a result of shelling on March 22

More than 450 houses were damaged by the massive rocket attack on Zaporizhzhia by the Russian army on March 22. The worst situation is in the private sector of the regional center, Ivan Fedorov, the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, said.

“On March 22, the epicenter of the attack was not only the Dnipro HPP, but also a huge number of residential buildings. On March 23, more than 450 buildings were partially damaged on the territory of Zaporizhzhia. Many of them had broken windows and destroyed roofs. In a nine-story building located on the right bank on Borodynskyi Avenue, on March 23, the work on dismantling the rubble has already been completed. The most difficult situation is in the private sector, there the Russians completely destroyed 10 buildings and dozens more were partially destroyed. As of today, even the rubble there has not been fully dismantled, it will take a few more days.” – he said.

The Russians did not limit themselves to the strike on March 22 and attacked Zaporizhzhia with three “shaheds” on the night of March 23. The air attack was aimed at the energy infrastructure, a substation was hit. Part of the facility is out of order.

It will be recalled that the movement of cars through the Dnipro HPP dam after a missile attack on March 22 was partially restored around midnight. As of March 23, only half of the road surface is functioning, the second is completely destroyed and will not function in the near future for sure.
