More than 800 residents of Zaporizhzhia region have died due to shelling since the beginning of the war

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Russian shelling has claimed the lives of more than 800 residents of Zaporizhzhia region. Among them are 45 children. This was reported by the Zaporizhzhia regional military administration.

From February 24, 2022 to February 24, 2026, 812 residents of the region died. Over 3,400 people were injured by Russian strikes.

During this period, the total duration of airstrikes in the region exceeded one year.

The Russians continue to destroy people’s homes. Over 1,300 apartment buildings and over 2,600 private homes have been damaged.
